# Connect Ligura to Grok Bot

> Add Ligura to Grok Bot as an MCP connector so Grok Bot can save and find your work.

Connect Ligura to Grok Bot once, and Grok Bot can save useful results to your Works and read them back in later conversations. Grok Bot is a desktop AI assistant app that supports MCP connectors. You set up the connection by asking for it in a chat.

## Before you start

* A Ligura account. [Start free](https://app.getligura.com/register) if you don't have one.
* Grok Bot installed on your computer, with a chat open.

## 1. Copy your connection address

Ligura's connection address is:

```
https://connect.getligura.com/mcp
```

It is the remote MCP server address Grok Bot uses to reach Ligura. It is also shown in [Ligura](https://app.getligura.com/) under **Connections**.

## 2. Ask Grok Bot to connect Ligura

In a Grok Bot chat, ask it to connect the Ligura MCP and give it the connection address. For example:

> Connect the Ligura MCP at [https://connect.getligura.com/mcp](https://connect.getligura.com/mcp)

Grok Bot adds the connector and shows a connect card in the chat.

## 3. Sign in and approve access

On the connect card, sign in to Ligura with your email link or code. Review the access request before approving it.

## 4. Use Ligura in a chat

Back in Grok Bot, try:

> Use Ligura to list my Works.

If Grok Bot shows your Works, or tells you that you don't have any yet, the connection is working. Next, [save something worth keeping](/docs/continue-your-work.md).

Once connected, Grok Bot can list your Works and groups and create new Works. It can save pages, tables, State, decisions, and [Skills](/docs/skills.md), then find and update them later.

## If something doesn't work

| What you notice | What to try |
| - | - |
| Grok Bot doesn't add the connector | Ask again and include the full address. Check that it is exactly `https://connect.getligura.com/mcp`, with no spaces or extra characters. |
| You don't see a connect card | Ask Grok Bot to connect the Ligura MCP again in the same chat. |
| Sign-in finishes but Grok Bot can't use Ligura | Ask Grok Bot to list your Works. If it still can't, repeat step 2 and approve the access request. |
| Grok Bot can't find a Work | Confirm the Work name and the Workspace, and check that your account can access it. |

Grok Bot's screens change from time to time, so what you see may differ slightly from this guide. If you are stuck, contact [support@getligura.com](mailto:support@getligura.com) and tell us which step you reached.

## Your work and Grok Bot

Grok Bot can read or change saved work only through the access you approve. Content Grok Bot retrieves is then handled under its provider's terms and privacy policy, so review them before connecting. To stop future access, disconnect Grok Bot from **Connections** in Ligura. Signing out of Ligura does not disconnect it. Read our [Privacy Policy](https://getligura.com/privacy/) for details.

Ligura is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the maker of Grok Bot. Grok Bot is a trademark of its owner.
