Connect Ligura to ChatGPT, and ChatGPT can save useful results to your Works and read them back in later conversations.

Before you start

  • A Ligura account. Start free if you don’t have one.
  • A ChatGPT account that allows custom MCP servers. This depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace policy. In a business workspace, an administrator may need to enable it.

1. Copy your connection address

Ligura’s connection address is:
It is the MCP server address ChatGPT uses to reach Ligura. You can also copy it from Ligura: go to Connections and choose ChatGPT.

2. Add Ligura as an MCP server

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings and choose Plugins.
  2. Select the MCPs tab.
  3. Choose Add, then Add MCP server.
The Plugins page in ChatGPT settings, with the Add menu open and Add MCP server highlighted
  1. Name the server Ligura and enter the connection address you copied.
  2. Save the server. When ChatGPT asks you to sign in, sign in to Ligura with your email link or code and review the access request before approving it.
  3. Check that Ligura is listed under Servers and that its switch is on.
If you don’t see Add MCP server, your account may need Developer mode. Look for it under Settings, then Security and login. In a business workspace, an administrator may need to allow custom MCP servers.

3. Use Ligura in a conversation

Start a new conversation. If Ligura isn’t already available, add it from the tools menu. Then try:
Use Ligura to list my Works.
If ChatGPT shows your Works, or tells you that you don’t have any yet, the connection is working. Next, save something worth keeping.

If something doesn’t work

ChatGPT’s menus change from time to time, so labels may differ slightly from this guide. If you are stuck, contact support@getligura.com and tell us which step you reached.

Your work and ChatGPT

ChatGPT can read or change saved work only through the access you approve. Content ChatGPT retrieves is then handled under OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy. To stop future access, disconnect ChatGPT from Connections in Ligura. Signing out of Ligura does not disconnect it. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
