Ligura works with AI apps that can connect to a remote MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI app use tools from other services, such as saving to and reading from Ligura. We publish step-by-step guides for Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok Bot. Other apps, including coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, are not yet verified with Ligura. They may work if they meet the requirements below, but we can’t promise compatibility.

What your app needs

  • Support for a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP. Apps that only run local MCP servers can’t connect.
  • Support for OAuth sign-in with PKCE. Ligura doesn’t use API keys or developer credentials for customer setup.
If you aren’t sure, check your app’s documentation or ask its administrator.

Set up the connection

  1. Open Ligura, go to Connections, and choose Other apps.
  2. Check with Ligura support that your app can register. Contact support@getligura.com and tell us which app you use.
  3. Enter Ligura’s connection address, https://connect.getligura.com/mcp, in your app’s remote MCP server field. It is also shown in Ligura under Connections.
  4. Use the app’s Connect or Authorize action. Sign in to Ligura with your email link or code and review the access request before approving it.
  5. In your app, try:
Use Ligura to list my Works.
For general help with remote MCP servers, see the Model Context Protocol guide.

Your work and other apps

A connected app can read or change saved work only through the access you approve. Content it retrieves is then handled under that app’s own terms and privacy policy, so review them before connecting. To stop future access, disconnect the app from Connections in Ligura.
